Wild Ivy Retreats Launch Day!
I feel as though I have been birthing these retreats for some time... Mother Nature's beauty along with 'Love' is all we need I have been thinking. No frills. Just to sit in it brings so much to us as humans. To notice, be quiet and listen, to the wind, the birds, the quiet busyness and interconnection of all that is in nature is so grounding. It reminds us too that we are part of its natural cycle. Disconnect to reconnect in real time... brings us home.
So it's massively exciting to be offering a monthly offering of celebration in nature's wonders with Wild Ivy Retreats. The first event being Disconnect to Reconnect which will happen on 25th July from
10.30 - 4pm.
The day will be filled to the brim with conscious mindful activities. We will be posy picking, wild flower foraging, creating art, guided visualisation meditations in our bell tent, walks and stillness in the ancient grounds of Puttenham and surrounding fields. With the over arching aim of reconnection to the cycles that live within us and others with our beloved nature as the backdrop.
The retreat will be facilitated by myself and lovely and talented friend Rosie Hill. Of course food will be featured as we will be foraging for wild flowers, herbs and edible weeds that will ordain and garnish our scrumptious vegan treats, drinks and lunch that we will enjoy throughout the day with take home treats to remind us of our day together.
Based in a tiny but beautiful part of the country with wild nature all around us, including the magical space, grounds and buildings of the ancient church of Puttenham, steeped in history and built on lay lines from Ivinghoe Beacon. Our little hamlet is a peaceful soulful haven with electric energy and where nature is in charge. We would love to share this beautiful space with other like minded women looking for some creative togetherness.
Just 50 mins outside of North London with easy train access. We can also recommend local luxury yurt accommodation, gorgeous Airbnb homes or a local camp site that has the most amazing sunsets for those who want to stop over and make a beautiful weekend away.
